Autumn

We are learning to use descriptive words.

I enjoyed writing about autumn because there were lots of things to describe.

I found it trying to describe the sky.

Outside, waving colourful leaves fluttered to the ground. Wet silky grass danced on top of the muddy dirt. The windy noisy sky howled. The soft sun tried to shine through the white clouds.

  2. Kia ora Aliyah,
I liked the adjectives and juicy verbs you used to describe the grass. Maybe you could say the specific colours of the autumn leaves, and search some synonyms for red, yellow and orange so your nouns are very specific.

I love how many amazing descriptive words you came up with.
I like the bit when you say colourful leaves fluttered down to the ground.
